Who we are

Casper Capital is a personal finance brand run by Casper Opala. We publish content, run the Richer Every Week newsletter, and operate the Payout app.

What we collect

• Email address when you subscribe to the newsletter. Stored and processed by Beehiiv.
• UTM tags (the source you came from, like a specific post or popup) so we can understand what works.
• Anonymous analytics via Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights. We do not use cookies for advertising. No personal identifiers are linked to page-view data.
• Authentication cookies for the team portal at /portal. These are HTTP-only, signed JWTs and are only set after you log in with a shared team password. They expire after 7 days.

What we do with it

• Send you the newsletter you signed up for.
• Tag your subscription with the source you came from (homepage popup, quiz, ManyChat funnel, etc.) so we can improve the experience for future subscribers.
• Understand which pages and CTAs convert (anonymous, aggregate).
• Authenticate you to the team portal if you have access.

We do not sell your data. We do not share your email with third parties beyond the platforms we use to deliver the newsletter (Beehiiv) and the affiliate partners listed on /resources if you sign up through their links.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links on our site are affiliate links. When you sign up for a product through one of these links, Casper Capital may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We only recommend tools we use or have personally vetted. Affiliate income helps us keep the newsletter free.

Your rights

You can, at any time:

• Unsubscribe from the newsletter via the link at the bottom of every email.
• Request deletion of your email and any associated data by emailing contactcaspercapital@gmail.com. We will action it within 30 days.
• Request a copy of the data we hold about you, same email address.

Third-party services

We rely on a handful of third parties. Each has its own privacy policy:

• Beehiiv (newsletter delivery)
• Vercel (hosting and analytics)
• Payout (the app, separate privacy policy on their site)

Children

Casper Capital is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If we update this policy, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. Material changes that affect how we use your data will be communicated via the newsletter.
